BlackBerry PlayBook |
With BlackBerry PlayBook’s features not satisfying as much as iPad does, it is now being reported that the company may add Android applications on its device.
BlackBerry smartphones are being largely used among corporate community. Though it has a large market in the US, the company is soon losing its market to Apple’s iPhone. Even the iPad, which was launched in the mid of 2010, was highly successful.
BlackBerry launched its PlayBook much later than iPad. However, the operating system of BlackBerry is not much welcomed as Apple’s iOS.
Once the company includes Android, BlackBerry PlayBook could give cut-throat competition to its rival especially to Apple’s iPad. This would also be a wise move by BlackBerry to lift the PlayBook tablet sales.
The BlackBerry PlayBook tablet was first unveiled on September 27, 2010. With just 9.7 mm thick, the phone has two cameras- 3 mega pixels front-facing camera and 5 mega pixels rear-facing camera. The tablet is enabled with 1GHz Cortex-A9 dual core processor and will be released for sale in spring.
