Beyonce Fronts Fashion For Haiti T-Shirt Campaign Beyonce |
Beyonce is the latest star to use fashion to raise funds for the Haiti earthquake appeal - she's the face of a new charity t-shirt line.
The If I Were A Boy hitmaker has been signed up to model the Fashion For Haiti t-shirt from the Council of Fashion Designers of America, and she's urging the public to buy the $25 (£15) top.
Beyonce says, "Join me and the fashion industry by buying and wearing the Fashion for Haiti T-shirt. Together we can send a message of hope by raising much needed funds for the people of Haiti."
The proceeds will go to the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund - founded by former U.S. Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush to help desperate Haitians following the devastating tremor which hit the nation on 12 January (10).
The t-shirt goes on sale in major U.S. retailers from 16 February (10).
Other stars to use fashion to help aid efforts include singer Jordin Sparks, who has designed a necklace, and Scarlett Johansson, who has created a Haiti handbag with fashion store Mango, while Miley Cyrus and Britney Spears have both donated designer dresses to an online auction.
