It is good that the popular band ‘Backstreet Boys’ appreciates Indian notes. Whereas most noted foreign bands are unaware about Indian culture and are least interested to know more about the land, it is definitely encouraging to hear this view from ‘Backstreet Boys’.
The band not loves Indian music but also Indian foods. In their tour to India they are planning to meet some of the noted Indian musicians apart from the familiar international figure and this year’s Grammy Award winner AR Rahman.
Their main venture to do a concert in India is to have a great insight of India’s music and dances. They want to have an exposure to our culture, the band states, "Our exposure to Indian music so far is limited. Probably, only songs from Slumdog Millionaire, which we thought were great. So while we are in India, we are definitely looking forward to checking out the songs and dances and may be even meet some musicians."
This 1993, pop band which features AJ McLean, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell, Nick Carter and Kevin Richardson had shot up to great fame at the earlier stage and amazingly ruling the song domain with the same vigor and integrity.
Reportedly, it is heard that they are planning to rock Indian audience with their flow of Hindi accent that they had picked up to familiarize with the crowd, the band adds, "We intend to pick up some Hindi while we are in India. This is our first time in India. We know we have a huge fan base here. We have run into many Indians at our shows, especially in Europe, who walk up to us and asked us to tour India. Now that we're finally getting the opportunity, we are looking forward to performing for our Indian fans."
They are sure to win the Indian hearts through their dynamic performance!
