Ayesha Siddiqui is the name which is listed on top of every news channel, websites and print media these days. The 29-year old woman who has claimed that she is the first wife of cricketer Shoaib Malik insisted that she has the document to prove her marriage with the Pakistan cricket star.
According to Ayesha Siddiqui she married Shoaib Malik on June 3, 2002 over the phone and was conducted by Islamic Priest, Hafez Mohammed Khaled. Ayesha also added that Malik signed the nikahnama which was attested by Sialkot residents Mukhtar Ali Khan and Syed Abrar Hussain.
Meanwhile, the bride’s signature reads ‘Maha Siddiqui’ in the nikahnama.
Ayesha had filed a police complaint in Hyderabad police station after it was announced that Malik planned to marry Indian tennis star Sania Mirza on April 15.
