Ashwariya Rai Felt Quite Challenging To Justify As Modern Day Sita Ashwariya Rai |
Obliviously a film by Mani Ratnam even a simpler concept can be given a hard drive and in a mythological concept film of his ‘Ravaan’, the lead actress beautiful Aishwariya Rai felt it is quite challenging to justify as modern day Sita as directed by him.
It about an unique personality that Ash had to don as and to justify it was not an easy stuff for her, the beautiful actress mentioned, "This is the most challenging role of my career. What is unique about Mani is that he draws you in his world through the narration. Ragini is a unique woman and a strong character which I personally can relate to.”
This flick which created its own furor from recent past during its making, highlights Ash along with her hubby Abhishek Bachchan who enacts in the film in the main lead.
There is lot about Ragini which she is playing in ‘Ravaan’, defying it to be mere role of a fragile beautiful heroine, Ash on her new role sighted, "We shot with snakes, rabbits, leeches moving around us. This has been the best adventure experience.”
This role was on her mind when Ratnam first narrated it to her during the shoot of ‘Guru’ three years past back and finally her fascination for Ragini actually materialized in reality by bringing her into live on screen which is quite challenging she mentions.
On account of Ratnam’s new transformation of her into Ragini, Ash revealed, "For the song Nanna re, I was dancing in full abandon in the rain. Little did I know that Mani was in the process of making a decision, that I will be his new character Ragini for Raavan.”
For an inertly tough lady like Ash can give a big surprise to everyone who takes for granted from her fragile exterior.
