Well, Apple’s second generation iPad is already a successful model. This is once again proved when the device was launched in the international market. It took just a matter of hours for Apple’s iPad 2 to get sold across all stores.
The iPad 2 was launched for international sales on Friday last week. Many of those who gathered and waited in long queues in front of stores returned home empty-handed.
In fact, some of the stores witnessed iPad 2 sales done soon after they opened the shop. Hundreds of people were said to be waited on long queues. But only few lucky ones could embrace much-celebrated iPad 2.
In Sydney, some Apple fans had waited for over 50 hours. However, we can hope Apple would soon bring the fresh batch of iPad 2.
The iPad 2 was first launched in March 2 and was released for sales on 11. The tablet works on Apple’s iOS and is powered by dual-core A5 chip. The highlight of the second gen iPad is its Smart Cover, a protection case cum stand. The price of Apple’s iPad 2 starts at $499.
