Apple’s iPad which created waves in the tablet computer market appears to have prepared to launch its next generation as early as in February, sources said. According to sources, Apple is likely to launch iPad 2, the advanced version of its first tablet computer, iPad.
The Apple iPad 2 tablet computer would reportedly come with better features like higher resolution and display and front and rear facing cameras. However, Apple’s sources have not officially announced about such product.
Apple’s iPad was first launched in April 2010 and in just three days of its launch about 1.7 million units were sold. About 3 million pieces of Apple’s iPad was sold in just 80 days. The iPad tablet computer runs on Apple’s own operating system, which also runs on iPhone and iPod Touch.
Apple’s iPad was first-of-its-kind device, the concept of which was later adopted by several technology companies including Samsung, Motorola, HP, Lenovo, Sony, Dell and many others.
