The eighth season of the American Action series ‘24’ which shows Anil Kapoor in the lead role will be telecast now four times a week instead of twice a week . The increased number of shows will begin from August 23.
Anil Kapoor plays the role of Omar Hassan, president of a Middle-East country in television series ‘24’ on AXN. Although the show is not a priority among the Indian audience, but the channel says that the presence of Anil Kapoor in the show will attract more viewers.
Rohit Bhandari, senior VP of AXN adds, “We expect that because of Anil Kapoor's presence, it may get more eyeballs.”
He further adds, “He also accepted that English entertainment is not a priority for Indian audiences. Still a better response is expected because of Anil Kapoor starring in '24'.”
The eighth season of the show will be aired this time with English sub-titles, keeping in mind the Indian audience.
While Anil Kapoor, who is highly geared up adds, “While shooting for '24', I discovered that the Omar Hassan was a liberal man. The writers told me that he had the charisma and depth of young Gandhi or Mandela who want peace at any cost."

Through such shows, Anil Kapoor is sure to get lot of international exposure .Anil is already getting many Hollywood offers and we hope to see him soon in one of them.
