Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘Teen Patti’ will be Formatted In International Flavor Amitabh Bachchan |
After Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Kites’, it will be the next consequtive time that an Indian film is going to be edited in Hollywood style.
‘Kites’ was done under renowned Brett Ratner of Hollywood, to showcase it in international flavor. Next it is ‘Teen Patti’ by Leena Yadav who has lassoed in Oscar winning editor Hughes Winborne to edit the film that is slated to release on Friday.
This Oscar winner editor Winborne, who has earned the award for his reputed work like ‘Crash’, won lots of acclamation for his works in ‘In Pursuit Of Happiness’ and ‘Seven Pounds’ also. Winborne is currently gonna re-edit ‘Teen Patti’ which was first edited by Kaushik Das.
Since international sensibility is required, the director Yadav states, "We needed that international sensibility to be placed on the footage. We sent a subtitled print to Hughes. But he soon did away with the subtitles. He got all the Hindi jokes and punchlines.”
The necessity was felt to get the rhythm right, Yadav divulged, "It's really about getting the rhythm right. The Western audience has a different pace for movie viewing. That pace worked beautifully in my film.”
It will be first time that Amitabh’s movie will be portrayed in an international style. Hope he earns a lot of accolades from international viewers.
