Here in Kolkota at the ‘Netaji Subhas Indoor Stadium, Amitabh Bachchan’s nostalgic number ‘Sara Jamana” was shot twenty years back from now. Amitabh was greatly moved by this flash back when he came to the same place to attend a school function this time.

 It was in an invitation from daughter of Basant Kumar Birla that he came to attend the function and the experience that he recounted was invaluable one, he added, "I have to travel again to Kolkata to attend a function for the school run by Basant Kumar Birla's daughter at the prestigious 'Netaji Subhash Indoor Stadium'. The very same, where on my insistence, my producer and dear friend Habib Nadiadwala shot those exciting song sequences in the film Yaarana. What a moment it was and what a trip to our favorite city, Kolkata."

The memory of this song sequence ‘Sara Jamana’ is too powerful to erase from mind and the soul, he adds "There were around 25,000 people inside and more than another 50,000 outside the stadium since they were unable to get seats, it being a free entry. I shall never forget the moment that still remains as an unforgettable experience in my system."
