A Barabanki Court ordered the police to investigate the accusation of a village head against Amitabh Bachchan for the delay of constructing a college in his daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan’s name.
The village head, Rajkumari Singh accused Big B of cheating and deceit. She has asked for an FIR to be lodged against the actor. The court has directed the police to investigate the matter and present a report on June 10.
According to Rajkumari Singh, Bachchan acquired the land in Barabanki in guise of the opening up a girls inter college which was supposed to be named as Aishwarya Rai Bachchan Mahavidyalaya Degree College. However, no work had started for the college even after two years. Singh said that Bachchan had cheated the naive villagers and in turn gifted the land to Samajwadi Party MP Jaya Prada led Nishtha Foundation illegally.
