Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn says that he always maintains a fair amount of distance from people as he hates the idea of having a coterie around him. The actor also added that he believes that his habit of choosing people carefully has kept him in a good position today.
"I have never had a coterie around me whether at the beginning of my career or today. I may have seen highs as well as lows but never ever have I given myself in the hands of those who may take unfair advantage of me," says Devgn.
Talking about his recent release Madhur Bhandarkar`s `Dil Toh Bachcha Hai Ji` and co-star Emraan Hashmi, he said, "When Madhur came to me with `Dil Toh Bachcha Hai Ji`, I and Kumar Mangat (producer) sat down with him and started discussing the other co-actors. It was Madhur who came up with the idea of roping in Emraan and I was convinced too."
Devgn who is married to actress Kajol maintained that he has decided to go slow in choosing movie offers as he believes it is the time to concentrate on his family. The pair has a seven year-old daughter, Nysa and newly born boy.
