Acer Liquid E Ferrari Smartphone  |
Acer in collaboration with Ferrari has launched a new Liquid E Ferrari special edition smartphone priced at Rs. 29,999 today.
The phone based on Qualcomm's Snapdragon chipset targets high-end segment of the market. It has a 5-mega pixels camera and other internet features including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth
"In order to encash the festive mood in India, the phone will be available at Rs 29,999 till Diwali and later on, the price may be revised," Acer India Chief Marketing Officer S Rajendran said during the launch.
The pictures of the Liquid E Ferrari smartphone released show the front panel of the body with wide touch-screen in black frame. And the rear panel is covered in red shade with the Ferrari’s trademark symbol etched on it.
The company intends to capture significant share in the market as the demand for mobile phone is constantly increasing in the country.
"The new range of Acer smartphones has been rolled out to meet the increasing consumer demand to access mobile Internet in style, anytime and anywhere. Users look for mobile devices with the easiest way to navigate while having the latest multimedia applications," Rajendran said.
Initially, the smartphone would be available in Croma outlet, after which the company plans to bring it to other retail outlets also.
