Aamir Khan has expressed his gratitude and sympathy towards Leh victims, who were severely affected in the cloud burst incident. He will also visit the school, where the last scenes of the movie were shot, but since he is not in a good health now, so he may proceed ahead in some day’s time.

 

Aamir has also expressed his worry for the Leh victims and he adds, “Very shocked and distressed to hear about the school we shot in Leh for 3i. Trying to get in touch with the Principal. I suppose the communications are down too.”

 

The Druk Prema School is situated on the Leh-Manali highway, 15 kilometers from the Leh, but the massive cloudburst claimed around 165 lives and even destroyed the school building.

 

Now, Aamir is willing to go back to the place and he adds, “Just spoke with Mr. Prasad, the Principal at the school in Leh. Big relief after speaking with him. Am trying to go there.”

 

Meanwhile, Aamir is down with high fever and is unable to participate in the promotional activities of ‘Peepli Live’. He had to even cancel every single task just at the last minute and he is not even in a condition for a live video chat.

 

The other Bollywood celebrities like Priyanka Chopra, Amitabh Bachchan, Sonam Kapoor, Bipasha Basu and Rahul Bose are trying to help the victims financially. Priyanka is trying it on a bigger scale as she is the newly appointed ambassador of UNICEF and she also spent her childhood days in Leh.
