The 2009 film fare power list ranks Aamir on the No.1 position, thus beats SRK continuously for the third time. The reason for that is Aamir had so many films to do and all were hits, while SRK literally sat for the whole 2009 and just did two movies, ‘Billu’ and ‘Dulha Mil Gaya’, which were both flops.
‘Taare Zameen Par’, ‘Ghajini’ and ‘3-Idiots’have earned a massive amount of Rs 825 crore and even his popularity rates have soared high. In fact, people have started to pre assume that whatever name may get associated with Aamir Khan, it will definitely become a hit. The biggest Bollywood hit 3 idiots alone managed to gross around Rs 375 crore.
However, SRK was literally inactive for the year 2009, but he still managed to attain the No.2 position and that’s why he is called the undisputed king Khan of the Bollywood.
While established filmmakers like Karan and Yash Johar took the second and third positions respectively and the maker of ‘3-idiots’ Rajkumar Hirani got the number one position this time. In fact Hirani has become the most influential film-maker of the Tinsel Town.
The other actors like Kareena Kapoor is on the No.8 position and Katrina is just two numbers behind her, while a low Hrithik Roshan is naturally at the No.9 slot.
