Design and FunctioningAnother point and shoot from Olympus available in red, green pink and blue, it wouldn't be an easy task blending into the camera-holding crowd clutching one of these. It is waterproof up to 10 feet underwater, freeze-proof and shock-proof, designed to bounce right back into action after a five-foot fall. The rugged camera also utilizes a re-designed GUI (graphical user interface) and Geotagging functionality. Videos can be viewed on HDTV screens using the HDMI output. The lens is placed inside the body and features like dual image stabilization; a combination of sensor-shift and digital stabilization, designed to reduce blurring of images, is also introduced in this camera. It also features Intelligent Auto Focus (AF), Face Detection and In-camera Panorama. The In-camera Panorama feature allows the user to sweep across a scene while capturing three scenes, which will be stitched together in the camera itself. Just like other cameras released by Olympus this year, the Stylus Tough 3000 will be SD card compatible.
