All of us know that aperture refers to the opening of the lens; the more the lens opens more the light that enters the camera. Somehow manufacturers never seem to make compact point and shoot cameras with fast lens, with an aperture of around 2.8 or 2.4. Instead they think of equipping cameras with features that many of them would never use, or may have trouble using. The Sony Cyber Shot DSC-WX5, however, is equipped with a fast lens, at f2.4. This compact camera comes with 12.2 mp resolution and 5x wide angle optical lens.

For the first time ever, 3D Sweep Panorama lets you shoot incredible 3D images without needing a bulky, complex double-lens camera system. Optical SteadyShot image stabilization uses a built-in gyro sensor to detect camera shake and automatically compensates to help prevent blur without sacrificing image quality. It contains 32MB of internal memory and is compatible with Memory Stick Duo/Pro Duo/ Pro HG Duo apart from SD/SDHC/SDXC.
