Design and FunctioningAs far as the looks of the Olympus SP-800UZ go, it looks like a child of a DSLR, if DSLRs could give birth, minus only the eye – the viewfinder. It is easy to grip due to its rubber grip and is lightweight for a Prosumer camera, with a silver grey body. With a zoom capacity of 30x, its 35mm equivalent is 28mm to 840mm. It responds to ISO settings ranging from 50 to 3100. Some other features that are notable are the Advanced face Detection, Dual Image Stabilization (digital as well as optical) and Creative Filters like Pin hole, Fisheye, Drawing and Popart, apart from In camera Panorama feature.
