A lot of people would do just anything to ‘keep up with the Joneses’; some of them go to crazy extents. They would end up buying expensive equipments and gadgets just to prove that they are no less in terms of social status than their neighbours – oftentimes they end up buying stuff that is too costly, too delicate, too complicated or just not as user friendly as it should be. All such people need a reality check; simplicity is still the catchword, especially in the gadget world. For such people, a simple camera like the Kodak Easyshare M380 would be ideal. This 10.2mp and 5x zoom camera comes with an easy to use and large LCD screen, measuring 3 inches.
Design and FunctioningThe body of the Kodak Easyshare M380 is mostly aluminium, although with some plastic parts, and the anodised metallic finish is quite attractive. Its LCD monitor is large and reasonably sharp, but it's not terribly bright and has a shiny reflective surface that attracts finger marks and is almost impossible to see in bright daylight. This simply and minimally designed camera comes in colours of Deep Purple, Devil’s Red, Shiny Teal and Midnight Black. Kodak EasyShare 380 features an enhanced 5x optical zoom Aspheric Lens that allows for zooming in close to capture long-distance shots. In addition, the M380 also includes Smart Capture technology, which uses Intelligent Scene Detection, Intelligent Capture Control, and Intelligent Image Processing to automatically adjust camera settings for the best quality-pictures. For instance, the Intelligent Capture Control automatically sets camera settings including exposure, focus and ISO for clear, sharp pictures even in low light and other challenging situations too and the Intelligent Image Processing effectively reduces noise and clears up dark shadows for vibrant, crisp details and true-to-life colors. This camera is compatible with SD/SDHC cards and also contains 32MB of internal memory.
