Compact point and shoot cameras have begun to come with the most advanced features which have begun to give more and more control to the user, with ISO and Shutter speed variations, manual modes and so on. The FinePix JZ300 / JZ305 from Fujifilm is no different, with its resolution of 12mp, zoom range of a whopping 10x, quite high for a point and shoot camera, and a few other features signatory to Fujifilm.
Design and FunctioningSince the Fujifilm FinePix JZ300 / JZ305 seems made for people who would like to click rather than be clicked – those with more than the usual interest in the field of clicking – it comes in extremely conservative colours of Midnight black and Metallic Silver. Its shape is sleek and it makes for a rather lightweight camera – at 148gs – which is what a compact point and shoot camera is required to be. It comes with the six scene recognition Auto function through which framed scenes are automatically detected and selected into appropriate camera settings: Portrait, Landscape, Night, Macro, Night Portrait, and Backlit Portrait. Its Tracking Auto focus mode keeps fast moving subjects in the frame and in focus, even when the zoom is fully extended. With its Micro Thumbnail View function, up to 100 pictures can be viewed at a time in a 10x10 array of micro thumbnails. It comes with internal memory of 40MB and is compatible with SD/SDHC cards.
