Casios Exilim range of compact point-and-shoot cameras have been known for their slick looks and extremely user friendly ergonomics and mechanism. The Casio EX-Z35 is another feather in their cap. An upgraded version of the EX-Z33, which came just a while ago, this camera is also available in the same colours as its predecessor. Its features include a 12.1 mp image sensor, 3x optical zoom and even a built-in quartz digital clock.
Design and FunctioningUnlike many upgraded versions, the Casio EX-Z35 is better equipped than its predecessor EX-Z33, with a 12.1 mp image sensing device, an exposure range that extends from 80 to 1600 ISO, and is compatible with both Secure digital (SD) as well as Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC) storage cards. Its auto focus mechanism also includes a macro function that allows the user to take extreme close ups, in case they need to capture details in design and texture. This same feature also includes a Pan (panoramic) mode that allows the user to take pictures of landscapes in a wide angle view. With a thickness of less than one inch and an internal memory of 16.9 MB, this camera is ideal even for making small home videos, facilitated by its face detection and audio recording features. Casio EX-Z35 responds to shutter speed ranging from 4 seconds to 1/2000th of a second and comes equipped with a Lithium-ion long lasting battery and its charger.
