God bless the super zoom cameras! They are the best thing to have happened to those who cannot always afford an SLR but always deserved more than just simple compact point and shoot cameras. God also bless the slim compact cameras that can just be slipped into the pocket and taken anywhere. They do not even need a bag or pouch to be carried around. But what would one say to the almighty if both these were combined to give one camera that is slim and still offers the functions of a superzoom camera? The Casio EX-H15 is one such camera, an extension of last year’s Casio EX-H10, which offers a resolution of 14.1 mp and a wide angle lens with a zoom capacity of 10x.
Design and FunctioningA step up from the EX-H10 model, Casio is describing this year's reincarnation in the metal and plastic bodied EX-H15 as the world's first high speed and high zoom compact camera. This camera incorporates in it the Dynamic Photo, a function that creates “moving photos” by cutting moving subjects from the background in images taken with continuous shooting and combining those images on a different still image. Its Premium Auto function enables the camera to automatically analyze the scene being photographed and make its settings accordingly. Its Art Shot Function can be used to create photos of scenery or human subjects that have the feel of a painting. This camera is also loaded with advanced standard features including CCD-shift image stabilization, long 1,000-shot battery life on a single full charge, and the high-resolution HD Movie function. It contains internal memory of 74Mb and is compatible with SD/SDHC cards.
