Design and FunctioningAll those who have known and appreciated the early SLR cameras, that come with prime lenses and were easy to handle, will love this camera. Though quite small in size, it looks like a smaller version (abridged edition!) of a professional DSLR, complete with a 2.8inch swivel LCD screen (one which can be swung out from the back of the camera) maintaining the standards that Canon has set, this camera too comes with the Optical Image Stabilization function which not only digitally but also mechanically stabilizes pictures to remove all blur and shake. This camera responds to an ISO range from 80-3200 and the Low Light mode can stretch this limit upto 12,800 ISO. This camera also comes with a Low Light Focus Assist Illuminator that can be turned on to assist focusing in low light conditions. Apart from the usual Face Detection mode, this camera also comes with a Motion Detection mode, which will also assist in minimizing blur while the object is in motion. It comes with an impressive shutter speed range – from 15secs to 1/4000th of a second. This camera is compatible with SD, SDHC, MMC and even high Capacity MMC cards and comes with an internal memory of 15MB.
