Haven’t all of us wondered at some point in time how it is possible to come up with such excellent footage of life under water? Every time someone watches a programme on say Animal Planet, we get to see beautiful images of life in the sea. One might have thought as to why taking pictures of underwater life should not be democratized, and thus camera companies came up with cameras like the Canon PowerShot D10. Snazzy and attractive, the Canon PowerShot D10 comes with a resolution of 12.7mp and a zoom range of 3x.
Design and FunctioningThough the Canon PowerShot D10 looks like a classic point-and-shoot analogue camera (say the Kodak KB10) one look at its features will tell a different story. This compact, tough and sleek camera comes in two colours – Electric Blue (signifying that it can be used under water) and the colour of Military Fatigues (to show how tough and shockproof it is). Coming up with tough cameras is not easy, especially when other qualities cannot be compromised on – it responds to an ISO range from 80 to 3200, has a maximum shutter speed of 1/5000th of a second and its minimum is 15 seconds. It also comes with canon’s Optical Image Stabilization function, Face detection and Motion detection modes and other. This tough waterproof, freezeproof and shockproof camera is compatible with SD, SDHC and MMC storage cards.
