Design and FunctioningThe only thing that the user cannot choose in a Canon Digital IXUS 980 IS is the colour of the camera – it is available in only two colours, Midnight Black and Metallic Silver and in Plum Red in some places. But then, people who value a completely manual mode which lets them click like a pro wouldn’t really want a Shocking Pink coloured camera! Its shape and design is also very typical of the whole IXUS range – minimalistic and sleek. The most noteworthy quality that it comes with, that could endear it to one and all, is its full manual mode, which allows the user to make his own settings of the aperture, shutter speed and ISO settings. It is also equipped with the i-Contrast function that takes care of too much difference in contrast in pictures taken. It comes with an internal memory of 32 MB and is compatible with SD and SDHC cards.
