The Los Angeles mansion where King of Pop Michael Jackson died has been put up for sale at $30 million.
 
The 1,600 sq metre French chateau-style mansion has seven bedrooms, a seven-car garage and 13 bathrooms. It also boasts of 12 working fireplaces, a theatre, wine cellar, a gymnasium and an inbuilt elevator.
 
The home's owner, Ed Hardy clothing brand chief executive Hubert Guez, rented the mansion to Jackson in 2009 as the singer rehearsed for his ‘This Is It’ tour.
 
The interested buyers will have to undergo an ‘extensive pre-qualifying check’ to tour the home in an effort to stave off die-hard fans wanting to see where the singer died.
