Jessica Simpson’s reps have announced the engagement of the star with her beau Eric Johnson. The country singer’s confirming a relation with the ex- NFL player, was affirmed by her spokespersons Lauren Auslander and Cindi Berger.
Jessica Simpson`s engagement news comes in just 2 weeks of her ex-husband Nick Lachey’s betrothal to longtime friend Vanessa Minnillo.
Simpson, 30 and Johnson, 31 have been seeing each other since May this year. Simpson will participate in Macy`s Thanksgiving Day Parade which will be joined by her fiancé and family.
Simpson had parted ways with husband and “Newlyweds" co-star Lachey in 2005.The couple was married for almost three years.
