Apple’s MacBook Air laptop has made impressive sales of around 1 million in just three months of its launch.
The company has sold 11 inch and 13 inch Mac models during the last quarter of 2010, the recent report revealed. The 11 inch model was priced at 867 Pounds while the 13 inch model was priced at 1,122 Pounds. Apple’s MacBook laptops are much demanded despite it being priced high.
Another report revealed that the company made about $3.7 billion on selling notebooks and sold 2.9 million units. Thus far in this year, Apple has sold about 70,000 units.
Weighing about 1.06kg, the 11 inches Apple MacBook Air runs on 1.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo dual-core core processor and is enabled to withstand 5 hours of battery. The laptop comes with 2GB of RAM with 64GB and 128GB memory capacity and there are two USB 2.0 ports of up to 480 Mbps.
